Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is tomorrow. Olivia's birthday party is Saturday. Olivia's birthday is Sunday. We have a busy busy weekend ahead of us.  Olivia has been checking her Valentine Envelope daily and received one Valentine card from her Great-Great Grandma Nadine so far.  When she opened the card and saw some money she immediately ran to her piggy bank and dropped it in there. She may end up like her Grandpa Kenny who likes to save every penny.  She has checked it the last few days and keeps wondering why nothing appears. When I put the envelope away after Valentine's Day, I am sure it will be upsetting.

I put together a few items for Olivia for Valentine's Day which includes a couple books, lip gloss, and a  water bottle.  I also picked up a Valentine plate in the dollar aisle at Target.  She will think all of this is great since these are a few of her favorite things.

If you have a Trader Joe's near you, you have to try out these mini heart cookies. They are so good and such a festive little treat.

I hope you all have a Happy Valentine's tomorrow!  I will be running around crazy making sure her 2nd birthday party is one to remember!

  1. That little envelope is such a cute idea! Marcus loves going to our real mail box, I can only imagine his delight if he had a little envelope to open every day.
Off to Trader Joe's we go… Those little hearts look good!
And, The Story of Valentine's Day?! We have The Story of Christmas, The Story of Easter, and The Story of Jesus. I'm going to have to track down the Valentine's one!!
